Job summary

VolkerStevin, part of VolkerWessels UK, seeks a proactive Sub Agent to lead civil, structural and electrical interface works on a major National Grid project. You will work with the Project Manager and Site Agent to deliver to programme, cost and quality, driving safe and efficient operations.

Applicants should have a Formal Civil Engineering qualification and proven experience in major infrastructure or energy projects, with SMSTS, CSCS, RAMS control and temporary works competence.

Qualifications

• A Degree, HNC, or equivalent in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• Proven experience as a Sub Agent, Senior Engineer or similar on major infrastructure projects.
• SMSTS certification and CSCS management card.
• Temporary Works Supervisor competence.
• First Aid at Work qualification or equivalent.
• Strong experience managing programmes, RAMS, ITPs and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineers, supervisors and supply chain partners to deliver civil, structural and electrical interface works to programme, budget and quality.
• Collaborate with Project Manager and Site Agent to deliver high-profile schemes.
• Manage change control, RAMS and subcontractor performance on site.
