Job summary

Birmingham Museums Ltd is seeking an on-site Exhibitions Technician to bring immersive displays to life at Birmingham Museum & Art Galley and across our sites. You will fabricate and install exhibitions, manage AV and lighting setup, and handle collection items safely.

You will collaborate with colleagues across departments to deliver complex projects on time while upholding high safety standards and keen attention to detail in a historic museum environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in exhibition fabrication and installation processes.
• Familiarity with AV installation and lighting control basics.
• Ability to work cross‑departmentally on complex projects.
• Safe handling of museum collections and equipment.
• Commitment to working safely and delivering project goals.
