Job summary

Fifth Wheel Recruitment are currently recruiting professional Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join our client in Bilston, West Midlands. You will drive a Low Loader and manage daily checks while delivering goods safely and on time.

The role offers regular weekly pay, overtime opportunities after 50 hours, and access to free training. Temp-to-perm opportunities exist where applicable, with a modern fleet and well-equipped facilities on-site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months Class 1 driving experience.
• Must hold a valid UK Class 1 (C+E) driving licence.
• Good understanding of Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.

Responsibilities

The Role

As a Class 1 Driver, your responsibilities may include:

• Driving a Low Loader
• Completing daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
• Delivering goods safely, professionally and on time
• Following all Road Transport, Working Time Directive and Driver Hours regulations
• Completing all relevant paperwork and electronic records accurately

Please note that a driving assessment may be required before your first shift.

What We're Looking For

To be considered for this role, you will need:

• A valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Driving Licence
• A minimum of 12 months commercial Class 1 driving experience
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card
• A good understanding of Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations

Our client may accept up to 6 penalty points, however applications with DD, DR, CD, IN or TT endorsements cannot be accepted.
