Job summary

Driver Hire Southend are currently recruiting an experienced HGV Class 1 and HGV Class 2 Driver Labourer for a busy scaffolding company.

This role combines driving duties with general labouring and assisting the scaffolding team on site.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 or Class 2 licence required.
• Labourer's card is essential.
• CSCS card required.
• Physically fit with good manual handling.
• Willing to drive and labour on site.

Responsibilities

• Drive HGV Class 1 or Class 2 vehicles to and from construction sites.
• Deliver and collect scaffolding equipment and materials.
• Load and unload the vehicle safely.
• Assist scaffolders with general labouring duties on site.
• Handle and move scaffolding materials on site.
• Carry out vehicle checks and relevant paperwork.
• Follow all site health and safety procedures.
• Support the team with other general duties as required.

Driver Hire Southend are currently recruiting an experienced HGV Class 1 and HGV Class 2 Driver Labourer for a busy and established scaffolding company.

This is an excellent opportunity for an HGV Driver who is comfortable combining driving duties with general labouring and assisting the scaffolding team on site.

Job Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 1 or Class 2 licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph
• Labourer's card is essential
• CSCS card is required
• Previous experience in scaffolding, construction or a similar environment is advantageous
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Reliable, punctual and professional
• Willing to carry out both HGV driving and labouring duties
• Ongoing work with an established scaffolding company
