Job summary

Turners (Soham) Ltd is seeking to recruit LGV Class 1 food grade tanker Drivers to be based at our Wissington depot PE33 9QG. Shifts include Day and Night. You will demonstrate skill, professionalism, and excellent customer service while developing close working relationships with planning and training teams.

Qualifications

• Tanker experience preferred but not essential; ensure you can provide relevant documents and PPE.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to a changing schedule.
• Strong customer service mindset and professional conduct.

Responsibilities

• Drive LGV Class 1 food grade tanker loads to and from depots and customer sites.
• Comply with Tachograph and Working Time Directive regulations at all times.

Turners (Soham) Ltd is seeking to recruit LGV Class 1 food grade tanker Drivers to be based at our Wissington depot PE33 9QG

Shifts available: Day shifts and Night shifts.

As a professional driver you will be required to demonstrate skill, professionalism, and excellent customer service.

Working for our Food Grade Division you will develop close working relationships with your planning and training team, alongside other drivers and staff members in a close-knit organisation that strives to create a welcoming and comfortable environment for all.

The haulage industry is one of varying hours and timings and will require potential candidates to be flexible in their approach to start and finish times.

Shift lengths do vary but you will be expected to comply with the Tachograph & Working Time Directive regulations at all times.

As a large and ever-expanding company, Turners can take on new drivers with limited experience. All we ask is you are willing and keen to learn, growing our driving group with knowledgeable and competent members. We are always keen to take on experienced drivers and recognize the knowledge and strengths you can bring to the organisation.

Successful applicants MUST have the following:

• Tanker experience (preferred) but not essential (No test drives can take place without these documents and Minimum PPE of Safety Boots)
