Moss Cottage nursing home in Ashton-under-Lyne, Greater Manchester, is actively seeking a Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) to join our caring team on day shifts. We provide Residential, Nursing, Dementia and Respite care for residents.

As a Registered Nurse, you will deliver high-quality clinical care, administer medication safely, and support residents with personalised care plans. You will lead with compassion, support colleagues, and ensure accurate, up-to-date documentation to maintain

Moss Cottage nursing home is looking for a Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) to join our dedicated team on days. Based in Ashton-under-Lyne, we provide Residential, Nursing, Dementia and Respite Care for 34 residents.

As a Registered Nurse, you’ll be central to the wellbeing of our residents, delivering outstanding clinical care while promoting a warm, person-centred environment. You’ll lead with compassion, support your colleagues, and make a real impact every single day.

What You Will Do

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing care to our residents
• Work closely with residents and their families to develop and review personalised care plans
• Administer medication safely and in line with clinical guidelines
• Monitor the health and wellbeing of residents, acting on changes swiftly and professionally
• Support and guide care staff, fostering a collaborative team environment
• Ensure thorough, legal, and up-to-date documentation of care
• Promote independence, dignity, and engagement through everyday activities and social involvement
• Maintain a strong focus on safety, nutrition, and infection control
• Respond calmly and effectively to emergencies, following best practice and policies
• A full induction into the service will be provided and ongoing support.
