Job summary

Co-op is seeking Customer Team Members to join our store team in the local community. You will deliver friendly, helpful service, assist on the shop floor and tills, and support daily operations to provide a positive shopping experience.

Full training is provided, with varied shifts including early mornings and late evenings, weekend work, and overtime. You’ll promote Co-op membership and help customers access services such as post office or bakery where available.

Qualifications

• Genuine passion for helping people and delivering great customer service.
• Ability to work flexibly across a number of shifts as part of a team.
• Interest in retail and busy store environment (experience not essential).

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly, thoughtful service and help put things right when needed.

• Help maintain store performance by stocking shelves and checking prices, dates and stock accuracy.

Job description

Pay: £13.04 per hour

Contract: 12 hours per week + regular overtime, permanent contract, part time

Working pattern: varied shifts including early mornings (store opening 6am), afternoons, late evenings (store closing 11pm) including at least 1 weekend shift, to be discussed at interview

Full, paid training provided

We're looking for Customer Team Members to join our team at Co-op, join us and play a key role in delivering friendly, helpful service in your local Co-op store.

As a Customer Team Member, you'll work as part of a friendly team in a fast-moving Co-op store, helping deliver essential services to your community every day. Depending on your store, this could involve working in our post office, or bakery, or helping with online services by picking and packing orders for home delivery. Whatever the day brings, you'll play a key role in making life easier for our customers.
