Job summary

Randstad CPE is recruiting welders for a temporary role with potential to go permanent, in a busy production setting in the UK. Two openings: a 4-day week (38 hours) and a 5-day week (39 hours).

Candidates must be time served in welding and fabrication or hold relevant NVQs, with MIG high-standard welding; TIG welding is also advantageous. Experience reading engineering drawings and fabricating to spec is essential, along with a reliable, punctual approach.

Qualifications

• Must be time served in welding and fabrication or have relevant NVQ's and experience.
• Apprenticeship completed would be an advantage.
• Must be able to MIG weld to a high standard and TIG weld when needed.
• Ability to fabricate and work to engineering drawings with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Record all job bookings accurately in a busy production environment.
• Weld to required standards for ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
• Work from engineering drawings and maintain a high standard of workmanship.
• Show a time-driven work attitude and work on own initiative.

Job description

This role will be temp with the possibility of becoming permanent.

We have 2 openings - one is a 4 day week - 38 hours and one is a 5 day week 39 hours.

Must be time served in welding and fabrication or have relevant NVQ's and experience

Having completed an apprenticeship would be an advantage

Must be able to MIG weld to a high standard

ble to TIG and MIG weld ferrous and non-ferrous materials to a high standard

Must be able to fabricate and work to engineering drawings

Working in a busy production environment, a time driven work attitude is required

Accurately record all job bookings

Work under own initiative

Reliable and punctual

Experience in welding stainless steel an advantage

Current or previous coding to EN 9606-1 an advantage
