Job summary

TipTopJob currently has openings for skilled welders in a temporary-to-permanent role. Work includes MIG and TIG welding to engineering drawings in a busy production environment. Two shift options: a 4-day week (38 hours) or a 5-day week (39 hours).

Must be time served or have NVQs; apprenticeship is an advantage. Experience with stainless steel is beneficial and EN 9606:1 coding is an advantage. Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK and reliable, punctual, and able to work on own

Qualifications

• Must be time served in welding and fabrication or have relevant NVQs and experience.
• Apprenticeship would be an advantage.
• Must be able to MIG weld to a high standard.
• Able to TIG and MIG weld ferrous and non-ferrous materials to a high standard.
• Fabricate and work to engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Record all job bookings accurately.
• Work under own initiative in a busy production environment.
• Be reliable and punctual.

We have 2 openings : one is a 4 day week : 38 hours and one is a 5 day week 39 hours.
