Job summary

Co-op Funeralcare in Alloa is seeking an empathetic and commercially minded funeral director to join our team. You will balance managerial and business tasks while building strong, trusting relationships with clients in a compassionate setting.

No industry experience is required. A UK manual driving licence is essential, and you will be part of an on-call rota that includes evenings and weekends to support families when they need us most.

Responsibilities

• Ensure client needs, service levels and KPIs are met.

• Refer regulated work, including funeral planning appointments, to a certified colleague.
• Build and maintain relationships with the team, clients and the community.

Full time 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:45am-4:45pm - as part of this role, you'll also be part of the on call rota (including evenings & weekends)

Please note all positions within Funeralcare can involve direct physical contact with the deceased as part of normal duties - the amount of contact will differ dependant on role applied for.

Typical duties include but are not limited to preparation, transportation, and personal care of the deceased to be carried out with professionalism, dignity, respect and adherence to health and safety standards.
