Ian Williams Ltd is seeking a skilled Multi Trade Operative to join its Response team in Bristol. You will perform reactive repairs in occupied homes, primarily carpentry with plumbing and plastering as needed, while keeping customers at the centre of everything you do.

The role emphasizes safety, customer service, and problem solving, offering a stable 39-hour week, a company van, and benefits including holidays, pension, and life insurance.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry (or equivalent) is desirable, experience in domestic or social housing environments is helpful.
• A full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Health & Safety policies to keep yourself and customers safe.
• Carry out multi-trade work, mainly carpentry, with plumbing and plastering as needed in occupied homes.
• Engage with residents, provide high quality customer service and work with your team to complete repairs.
• Apply fault finding skills to resolve issues quickly and effectively in domestic settings.
• Attend reactive, emergency, and routine repairs, with occasional planned refurbishments in void properties.
