Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is recruiting a Reactive Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) for the Minehead site. The role focuses on reactive maintenance of building plant, responding to emergencies, and small installation works.

The successful candidate will have a solid electrical background, carry out tasks to high safety standards and work with sub-contractors to ensure quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• A good basic education is essential, with good written and spoken English and basic mathematical skills.
• Recognized Electrical Qualification
• C&G 18th Edition in Electrical Installations
• C&G Test and Inspection

Responsibilities

• Maintain electrical/Mechanical systems to meet maintenance SLAs.
• Carry out reactive repairs and coordinate sub-contractor work.
• Update weekly equipment reports and site logs.
• Engage with sub-contractors for repairs/quotations and ensure work quality.
• Sign off tasks via PDA per client policies.
• Represent CBRE professionally to clients and visitors.
• Maintain safe and healthy working environment and comply with policies.
• Liaise with client representatives and teams on site.
• Work within a call out rota if applicable.
