Job summary

Metro Rod Bedford, Luton & Watford is seeking a Reactive Drainage Engineer to join our team in a full-time permanent role. The position involves emergency drainage services, repairs, and maintenance across commercial and domestic properties within LU, AL, MK postcodes.

You will deliver high-quality customer service, operate to H&S standards, and work on-call on a rota basis. A full UK driving licence and willingness to cover occasional unsociable hours are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial & domestic Drainage is essential
• Experience in drain cleaning, drain repairs, patch lining
• Drainage tickets including HPWJ, Confined spaces and CSCS
• Experience with CCTV Surveys and Lining an advantage
• Positive, flexible, can-do attitude
• Willing to work occasional / unsociable hours
• Full UK driving licence - over 21 for insurance purposes
• Must live in LU, AL, MK postcode areas

Responsibilities

• Carry out a range of services associated with emergency drainage offering: cleaning, clearance, repair, installation and maintenance of customers’ assets (new and old)
• Deliver a high standard of customer service and technical expertise
• Operate in accordance with H&S and Quality procedures
• Maintain high standard of company service, vehicles and equipment
• Accurately record completed work details via internal and client systems
• Communicate effectively to ensure an excellent service is provided at all times
• Cover normal working hours and on-call out-of-hours on a rota basis with a flexible attitude to emergencies
