Job summary

Valoris Group is seeking an experienced Commercial Plumber to operate across commercial and industrial properties in Lancashire. The role involves reactive repairs, planned maintenance, fault-finding, and upgrades while supporting Reactive, Service and Project Divisions.

You will diagnose faults, repair and install plumbing systems, maintain safety/regulatory standards, and produce thorough service reports. A full UK driving licence and willingness to join the on-call rota are required.

Qualifications

• Five years' experience as a commercial plumber in commercial/industrial settings.
• Strong reactive plumbing, maintenance, fault-finding and remedial experience.
• Experience with commercial plumbing and heating systems.
• Experience repairing, replacing and installing plumbing systems and equipment.
• Solid understanding of UK plumbing regulations and health and safety standards.
• Experience in reactive and planned maintenance environments.
• Ability to diagnose faults and complete high-quality repairs.
• Experience working with multiple trades in a maintenance context.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness for on-call rota.

Responsibilities

• Respond to reactive plumbing and maintenance call-outs.
• Diagnose faults and complete efficient, effective repairs.
• Service and maintain commercial plumbing and heating systems.
• Repair, replace and install pipework and sanitary equipment.
• Investigate leaks, water-pressure issues, blockages and system faults.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance.
• Undertake remedial work and plumbing-system upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with UK plumbing regulations and safety standards.
• Produce accurate service reports and job documentation.
• Identify defects and recommended remedial work.
• Collaborate with engineers and other trades in a multi-skilled team.
• Communicate professionally with customers and site teams.
• Participate in out-of-hours/on-call rota.
• Support divisions as required and maintain company vehicle/equipment.
