Job summary

Hargreaves Lansdown is seeking a Software Engineer (React Native) to build and evolve our next-generation mobile experiences from Bristol. You will work within the Dealing Journeys squad, collaborating with engineers, product managers and designers to deliver fast, secure, scalable apps used by millions of clients.

You will develop, test and maintain mobile applications using React Native and TypeScript, integrate with backend services, and contribute to CI/CD and quality practices.

Qualifications

• Commercial experience developing React Native apps in production.
• Experience with REST APIs or GraphQL.
• Knowledge of state management (Redux, MobX, or equivalent).
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (Jest, Detox, Testing Library).
• Understanding of CI/CD and modern software delivery.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test and maintain mobile apps using React Native and TypeScript.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features end-to-end.
• Integrate apps with backend services and APIs.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality.
