Job summary

AIT Home Delivery UK Limited in Swindon is seeking a Stock Controller to join a growing team. You will maintain stock accuracy across client accounts, perform cycle counts and stock verifications, and investigate discrepancies in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

You should be detail-oriented, proactive, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and able to work with data to identify trends. Experience with Mintsoft is desirable; manual handling and working at height may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in stock control or inventory management in warehouse or 3PL.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to investigate issues and identify trends.
• Flexible, proactive approach and accountability.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, manual environment.
• Willing to undertake manual handling and work at height (training provided).
• Reach D2 License is required.
• Experience with Mintsoft is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high levels of stock accuracy across client accounts.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and stock checks across locations.
• Investigate stock discrepancies, pick errors and stock queries promptly.
• Identify root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Work with warehouse teams to improve processes and performance.
• Utilise Mintsoft to manage and report stock data.
• Support stock location optimisation and workflow improvements.
• Assist with repicks, rebooking and stock corrections as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and management.
