Job summary

Proactive Global in Dunstable is seeking an experienced Forklift Driver to join our busy warehouse. The role requires a valid accredited Reach truck licence and prior work in Goods In/Despatch, with duties spanning loading, unloading and stock control.

You will operate a Counterbalance forklift, move stock, pick and despatch orders, and maintain accurate inventory records while upholding Health and Safety standards and assisting the wider team.

Qualifications

• Valid accredited Reach truck licence.
• Experience in a warehouse, Goods In or Despatch environment.
• Experience using a stock management system.
• Good IT skills with the ability to input and update stock accurately.
• Strong understanding of Health and Safety procedures in a warehouse.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload deliveries.
• Receive, check and book goods into the warehouse using the stock control system.
• Move stock to correct storage locations.
• Pick, prepare and despatch customer orders.
• Carry out stock movements and maintain inventory records.
• Complete warehouse documentation accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Adhere to Health and Safety policies and warehouse procedures.
• Support the wider warehouse team with general duties as required.

• 2:00pm - 10:00pm (PM Shift)

The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Forklift Drivers to join a well-established and successful company based in Dunstable.

This is a full-time, ongoing opportunity working within a busy warehouse and goods handling environment. The successful candidate will hold a valid accredited Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence and have previous experience working within Goods In and Despatch operations.

Key Responsibilities

As a Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative, your duties will include:

• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently.

Candidate Requirements
