Job summary

Barker Ross is currently recruiting Reach Truck Drivers for a role based in Peterborough at the Cold Storage Warehouse. This position is offered on a temp-to-perm basis with the opportunity to secure a permanent contract.

Shifts include AM, PM, and Nights with varying 4on/4off patterns. Pay rates are £15.33 per hour with overtime at £22.99, plus weekly shift allowances of £20 for AM/PM and £55 for Nights. PPE is provided for the freezer environment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating reach trucks in cold storage environments.
• Must be able to work in freezer conditions with PPE provided.
• Comfortable working a shift-based schedule (various shifts).

Responsibilities

• Operate reach truck in cold storage warehouse.
• Assist with loading/unloading and inventory tasks.
• Follow safety protocols and PPE requirements.

Barker Ross is currently recruiting for Reach Truck Drivers to join one of our clients team based in Peterborough at the Cold Storage Warehouse.

This role is on Temp to Perm basis, with an opportunity to get a Permanent contract.

Stable work all year around.

Duties

would need to operate Reach Truck on daily bases, it is a ColdStore Warehouse but full Freezer PPE will be provided.

Reach truck cabins are heated

Shifts

• AM 6:00 - 18:00, 4on/ 4off


• PM 14:00 - 22:00, Monday- Friday


• Nights 18:00 - 06:00, 4on/ 4off


• Nights 22:00 - 06:00, Monday - Friday

Pay Rates

• For all shifts Pay rate is £15.33, Overtimes £22.99


• Shift allowances weekly for AM/ PM £20 and for Nights £55
