Job summary

Quest Employment Ltd. in Peterborough is seeking an experienced Reach Truck Driver for a temperature-controlled warehouse role. You will operate a Reach Truck across ambient, chilled, and freezer areas, loading, unloading and stocking goods.

The role offers Sunday to Thursday shifts with 6:00am–2:00pm or 7:00am–3:00pm, and a starting pay of £13.40 per hour. All appropriate warm clothing is provided; you must bring your own safety boots.

Qualifications

• Previous Reach Truck experience in a warehouse environment.
• Valid Reach Truck licence or recognised training certification.
• Confident working in ambient, chilled and freezer environments.
• Own safety boots required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Reach Truck safely and efficiently.
• Move and replenish stock across ambient, chilled and freezer areas.
• Load, unload and stock away items in designated locations.
• Pick and prepare orders when required.

The Role

We're looking for an experienced Reach Truck Driver to join a busy warehouse operation in Peterborough.

You'll be working across ambient, chilled and freezer storage areas, so this role is ideal for someone who is confident on a Reach Truck, enjoys staying busy and doesn't mind a change in temperature!

Don't worry about the cold – all appropriate warm clothing will be provided. You'll just need to bring your own safety boots.

What You'll Be Doing

• Operating a Reach Truck safely and efficiently.

• Moving and replenishing stock across ambient, chilled and freezer areas.

• Loading, unloading and putting stock away in designated locations.

• Picking and preparing orders when required.

• Ensuring stock is handled accurately and safely.

• Supporting the wider warehouse team to keep things running smoothly.

What You'll Need

• Previous Reach Truck experience within a warehouse environment.

• A valid Reach Truck licence or recognised training certification.

• Confidence working in chilled and freezer environments.

• Your own safety boots – all warm clothing will be provided.

• A reliable attitude and good attention to detail.

• Availability to work Sunday to Thursday, 6am–2pm.

What You Might Not Like

Let's be upfront – you'll be working in some pretty cold temperatures! While we'll make sure you're provided with the appropriate warm clothing, you'll need to be comfortable moving between different temperature-controlled areas.

You'll also be working Sundays, but the bonus? Every Friday and Saturday off!
