Job summary

JJ Foodservice is hiring a Reach Truck Driver for the night shift to support a busy warehouse operation. The role involves preparing orders for loading, storing items accurately, checking stock, and manual handling as needed.

A permanent contract is offered with full training and progression opportunities. Ideal candidates will have prior reach truck experience, a valid operator certificate, and good English communication.

• Experience in a similar role is required.
• Excellent people skills and teamwork are important.
• Good communication skills are essential.
• A valid Reach Truck Operator Certificate/Licence is required.
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK is required.
• Physically active nature due to heavy lifting.
• A good standard of spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Preparing customer orders that will be loaded onto our lorries.
• Store items safely in the correct location.
• Check stock for damage, loss or short dated items and report as required.
• Manual handling – lifting or moving products as required.
• Physical requirements – pushing and pulling the trolley to carry items.

The perfect candidate will work behind-the-scenes to ensure the warehouse operates smoothly.

Salary:£29,400.00 per annum.

We Are Looking For Applicants Who Have

• Experience in a similar role

• A valid Reach Truck Operator Certificate/Licence is required
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK
• A physically active nature (due to heavy lifting)
