Job summary

JJ Foodservice is seeking a Reach Truck Driver for dayshift at our Nottingham warehouse. The role is permanent with full training and real opportunities for progression. You will work behind the scenes to ensure warehouse operations run smoothly and safely.

The position requires experience in a similar role, good English, physical fitness for lifting, and eligibility to live and work in the UK. Salary is £27,400 per year, with 28 days annual leave rising with loyalty and access to JJ family

• Prepare customer orders for loading onto lorries.

• Push/pull trolleys to transport items.

The perfect candidate will work behind-the-scenes to ensure the warehouse operates smoothly.

Salary:£27,400.00 per annum.

We are looking for applicants who have:

• Experience in a similar role
• Excellent people skills, as well as being a great team player
• Good communication skills
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK
• A physically active nature (due to heavy lifting)
• A good standard of spoken English

Responsibilities of the role:

• Preparing customer orders that will be loaded onto our lorries
• Store items safely in the correct location
• Check stock for damage, loss or short dated items and report as required
• Manual handling – lifting or moving products as required
• Physical requirements – pushing and pulling the trolley to carry items
