Job summary

Evoke Plc in Harlow is seeking a motivated Reach Truck/Counterbalance Driver to join our fast-paced warehouse team. You will operate reach trucks to move, load, and unload materials with a strong focus on safety and accuracy.

You will use warehouse management systems to track inventory movements, perform routine inspections, and assist with shipping and receiving while maintaining clean, organized work areas.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating reach trucks or similar forklifts in a warehouse setting.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory control.
• Mechanical knowledge for basic equipment repair and troubleshooting.
• Strong materials handling skills with an emphasis on safety and accuracy.
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures and best practices.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations related to measurements, quantities, and weights.
• Prior experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate reach trucks to pick, load, and unload materials in designated warehouse areas
• Use warehouse management systems to track inventory movements and update records accurately
• Conduct routine inspections and minor repairs on equipment to ensure operational safety and efficiency
• Handle materials with precision, ensuring proper stacking, storage, and retrieval according to safety guidelines
• Assist with shipping and receiving processes by verifying shipments against documentation
• Perform heavy lifting as needed, adhering to safety protocols for manual handling tasks
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse to support efficient workflow
