Planwell Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled Reach Forklift Driver and Warehouse Operative in Dartford. The role combines forklift operation with general warehouse and production support, with an immediate start for the right candidate.

Key duties include operating Reach and Counterbalance trucks, loading/unloading, stock control, pallet wrapping, and maintaining a safe, tidy work environment. Reliability and a fast-paced, physically active approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Reach and Counterbalance forklift certificates required from a recognised external body.
• Proven experience using forklift trucks in a warehouse/production setting.
• Checkable references and evidence of relevant experience.
• Good literacy and numeracy.

About the Role

Our client, a busy and growing production site in Dartford, is looking for a skilled and dependable Reach Forklift Driver and Warehouse Operative to join its friendly team. This is a varied, hands-on position combining forklift operation with general warehouse and production support. The successful candidate will ideally be available to start immediately.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Reach and Counterbalance forklift trucks safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload vehicles and containers.
• Stack, move and distribute goods throughout the warehouse.
• Complete manual stock-control tasks accurately.
• Fill and shrink-wrap pallets.
• Support other warehouse and production areas as required.
• Maintain a safe, tidy and efficient working environment.

What We're Looking For

• Valid Reach and Counterbalance forklift truck certificate's issued by a recognised external training body. In-house certificates cannot be accepted.
• Proven experience using forklift trucks in a warehouse or production environment.
• Confidence working in a fast-paced, physically active setting.
• A reliable, punctual and team-focused approach.
• Checkable references and evidence of relevant experience.
• A good standard of literacy and numeracy.

What's on Offer

• £15.00 per hour basic rate.
• Overtime paid at £22.50 per hour after 12 weeks, where basic hours are exceeded.
• 42.5 paid hours per week, including paid breaks.
• 28 days' annual leave, inclusive of bank holidays.
