Job summary

Absolute Health & Care is seeking an experienced Reach Driver for night shifts at a busy distribution warehouse in Wardle, Nantwich. You will work 18:00–02:00, on gas-powered Reach Trucks, for a 8-hour shift Sunday to Thursday, paid at £15.76 per hour.

This temporary-to-permanent role requires a Reach Truck licence with at least 1 year of experience. You will operate in a safety-conscious environment and handle stock, paperwork, and dispatch functions.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Reach Truck licence with at least 1 year of experience.
• Gas powered trucks experience is required.
• Commitment to Health & Safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Pick orders from pick lists and locate stock.
• Pack orders ready for dispatch.
• Dispatch goods to customers.
• Complete paperwork and documents as required.
• Receive, check and store products to avoid damages.
• Report shortages and damages to the Team Leader.
• Follow Health & Safety policy and maintain safe work areas.
• Keep work areas clean and tidy; maintain stock locations.
• Support warehouse duties including stock checks and handballing.

We are recruiting for experienced Reach Truck drivers to work 6pm-2am night shifts at a busy distribution warehouse in Wardle, Nantwich

You will be working 8hr shift 18:00pm-02:00am Sunday to Thursday paid at an hourly rate of £15.76 per hour

This role is a temporary to permanent role, where you will work via the agency for a minimum of 12 weeks and offered a full time contract if you pass the probational 12 weeks.

You will need to have a Reach Truck licence with a minimum of 1 year experience and you will be working on gas powered trucks

What You’ll Be Doing

• Picking orders from pick lists and locate stock as and when required.
• Packing orders ready for dispatch.
• Dispatching goods to our customers.
• Completing all paperwork and documents as required.
• Receiving, checking and storing products from suppliers in a manner so the Company is not liable for any damages.
• Report all shortages and damages found to the Team Leader immediately.
• Be aware of and adhere to the Company’s Health & Safety Policy, taking responsibility for the Health and Safety and welfare of yourself and others
• Ensuring work areas are kept in a safe, clean and tidy manner.
• Warehouse duties; checking stock, goods and location controlling, picking and handballing.
