Job summary

Gap personnel are recruiting for 20 Reach Forklift Drivers for night shifts at Severn Beach. The role is temp to perm with an hourly rate of £16.07–£20.09, plus overtime after 40 hours. Xmas bonus available if you work over 4 shifts per week.

Applicants must hold a valid Reach Forklift Licence and Counterbalance licence, have a good level of English, and previous warehouse experience. Immediate starts available for suitable candidates.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Reach forklift licence.
• Must hold a Counterbalance licence.
• Good level of English.
• Reliable and able to work shifts.
• Experience in a similar warehouse role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive reach truck to unload and load deliveries.
• Complete warehouse replenishment to pick faces.
• Move stock around the warehouse as required.
• Palletise stock and store away correctly.
• Replenish stock locations and assist with goods in/out.
• Assist with despatch and stock checks.
• Work to health and safety standards at all times.

Gap personnel are working with The Range Distribution Centre in Severn Beach & are recruiting for 20 Reach Forklift Drivers to work on an ongoing, temporary to permanent basis. Applicants must hold a valid and in date Reach Forklift Licence.

The client is a growing retail business with a fantastic state of the art Distribution Centre & has an inclusive and diverse workforce. The site has staff rest areas with lockers provided & canteen with vending machines & microwaves.

Pay Structure

£16.07 per hour for night shift, £20.09 overtime after 40 hours

Xmas Bonus, if you work over 4 shifts per week, £0.50 for every hour worked is retained and will be paid out on 19th December.

Main Duties Include,

• Driving reach truck to unload/load deliveries
• Complete warehouse replenishment to pick faces
• Stoick movements across the warehouse as needed
• Palletising stock and putting away
• Replenishment of stock locations
• Loading HGV and goods out
• Despatch and checking
• Working to health and safety standards

The successful candidates will;

• Hold a Counterbalance/ Reach forklift licence
• Be able to work shifts reliably
• Have a good English level
• Have previous experience in a similar role
• Want a long-term role with a growing company
