Proactive Personnel Ltd in Telford is recruiting a Reach Driver for a client in Halesfield. You will handle high-value stock in a clean environment with an immediate start and long-term options.

Your duties include stock counts, use of handheld scanners, and ensuring accuracy while completing paperwork. Excel/Word skills helpful. Shifts are 6:00–13:45 and 14:15–22:00, Monday–Friday, with paid breaks.

Qualifications

• Valid Reach forklift truck license.
• Warehouse experience including picking and stock taking.
• Experience in stock control and stock counts.
• Experience using hand-held scanners.
• Experience in manufacturing/distribution environments.
• Ability to work towards targets and manage workload.

Responsibilities

• Work in the warehouse with high-value stock.
• Manage stock levels through regular stock counts.
• Maintain stock accuracy and investigate discrepancies.
• Check orders pre-production, unpack and prepare for production.
• Complete paperwork and use internal warehouse systems.
• Operate handheld scanners and MS Excel/Word.
• Support ongoing stock control and reporting tasks.

Job description

We are recruiting for aReach Driver to work in Halesfield, Telford. You will be working with computer parts in a very clean and good environment for a prestigious company with long terms options available.

Immediate start

As aReach driver you will need to have:

• Valid Reach forklift truck license
• Warehouse experience, picking, stock taking
• Previous experience in stock take/stock control
• Experience of using hand-held scanners
• Previous experienceof working in the manufacturing/distribution environment
• Experience in working towards targets and prioritisingworkload
• Computer skills (excel/word)
• Keen eye for detail as the role is not about speed, but accuracy and quality of work

Details:

• Rate of Pay: £15.52per Hour.
• Paid breaks
• Working Hours are 6am - 1:45 pm and 2:15pm - 10 pm Monday to Friday

Role of a Warehouse Operative:

• Working within thewarehouse department with high-value stock
• Managing stock levels through stock counts
• Maintaining stock accuracy
• Carrying out stock investigations
• Checking orders pre-production, unpacking and preparing for production
• Completion of paperwork
• Using hand-held scanners
• Working on internal warehouse systems and with Microsoft tools such as Excel
