Job summary

Osborne Appointments is recruiting a Reach Truck Driver for a role in Flitwick. The ideal candidate will drive Reach Truck and related equipment to load/unload goods, pick and pack orders, and manage stock transfers with strict safety and accuracy.

The position requires a licence and experience in a warehouse environment, with flexibility for overtime. The role involves coordinating with production and other departments, using a handheld scanner, and maintaining high standards of quality and

Qualifications

• Previous experience within a Warehouse environment.
• Must have a Reach Truck Licence.
• Counterbalance, PPT, VNA are preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to do heavy lifting and loading.
• Flexible with working hours and overtime.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• WMS experience essential.
• Organised, pro-active & positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles by hand or with MHE.
• Operate PPT/ Forklift (reach truck and counterbalance).
• Occasional admin/office based responsibilities.
• Picking & packing orders for despatch ensuring a high level of accuracy using hand held scanners.
• Manage stock and prepare transfers for loading goods on to delivery vehicles.
• Operate within tightknit team of operatives and liaise with other departments.
• Ability to move between departments production/bulk/Ecommerce.
• Adhere to strict safety, quality and production standards.

Role:Reach Truck Driver

Location: Flitwick

Hours: Monday to Thursday, 08:00AM - 17:30PM, Fridays 14:45PM

Salary: Up to £31,500 per annum, depending on experience.

Must Drive due to location

OA are currently working with a well established, family owned client based in Flitwick, currently looking to recruit for an experienced Reach Truck Driver, to join the team.

Duties of a Reach Truck Driver:

• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles by hand or with MHE.
• Ability to operate PPT/ Forklift (reach truck and counterbalance)
