Are you passionate about supporting individuals to achieve their maximum potential and promote independence? West Berkshire Council is seeking a dedicated and motivated Reablement Practitioner to join our Adult Social Care Service, working within the Reablement Team.
As a Reablement Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality reablement services to our residents. Reporting to the Team Manager – Promoting Independence (Reablement and Sensory Needs), you will be responsible for:
7 working days in 14: 32.5 hours per week – morning (07:00–10:30), lunchtime (12:00-13:30) and evening (18:00 – 22:00)
27.25 hours per week – morning (07:00-10:30), lunchtime (12:00-13:30) and teatime (16:00-18:30)
21 hours per week – PM 16:00-22:00
We are ideally looking to offer the successful candidate the full number of hours advertised above. We may however consider offering less hours than advertised providing they meet the requirements of the role and service which will be determined by the recruiting manager.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:
You will also be entitled to a generous annual leave entitlement starting at 27 days per annum (plus public holidays), rising by an additional 5 days after 5 years’ service. (Pro rata for part-time hours)
