Religious Studies Teacher | Wolverhampton

Start date: ASAP / Flexible working options

Protocol are working with a comprehensive school in Wolverhampton that is looking to recruit a Religious Studies Teacher.

Do you have experience as a Religious Education Teacher? Would you like to advance your career in a leading school?

As the new Religious Studies Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging, interactive lessons to promote learning and curiosity among pupils. You will tailor your approach to support low attainers while challenging high achievers, working collaboratively with parents and teaching assistants to develop individual learning plans.

The ideal candidate should be well-qualified, enthusiastic, and committed, with the ability to teach across Key Stages.

The start date is negotiable, and the position is full-time.

Requirements:
  • Hold a relevant undergraduate degree
  • Have successful secondary teaching experience
  • Understand effective teaching and learning strategies
  • Value high expectations and equality of access
  • Knowledge of KS3 and KS4 National Curriculum requirements, including lesson planning, resource development, and assessment
  • Ability to work collaboratively and maintain positive relationships with staff
  • Strong communication skills with parents, carers, and external agencies
  • Excellent time management and motivational skills
