PK Education are working with a secondary school in Doncaster who are looking to appoint a Teacher of Religious Education on a full-time basis from September 2026. This is a one-year maternity cover within an established Humanities department, teaching RE across KS3 and KS4.

The school has a strong focus on religion, ethics and the wider world, with RE forming an important part of the curriculum. You'll join a team where teachers collaborate and students are encouraged to discuss ideas

Qualifications

  • This role requires QTS or a relevant teaching qualification.
  • Strong RE subject knowledge and ability to engage students.

Salary: MPS/UPS, dependent on experience

PK Education are working with a secondary school in Doncaster who are looking to appoint a Teacher of Religious Education on a full-time basis from September.

This is a one-year maternity cover within an established Humanities department, teaching RE across KS3 and KS4.

The school has a strong focus on developing students' understanding of religion, ethics and the wider world, with RE forming an important part of the wider curriculum. You'll be joining a department where teachers work closely together and students are encouraged to discuss and challenge ideas in a respectful environment.

The role includes:
  • Teaching RE across KS3 and KS4
  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons
  • Preparing students for GCSE where applicable
  • Assessing and monitoring student progress
  • Working collaboratively within the Humanities department
We're looking for:
