Job summary

Taiko Acton is seeking a reliable Raw Material Technologist to ensure food safety and regulatory compliance across materials and suppliers. You will manage supplier databases, maintain specifications, and support ETI Base Code documentation while promoting a robust food safety culture.

The role demands strong communication, organisational skills, and the ability to coordinate corrective actions and supplier reviews in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Must have strong knowledge of HACCP, CCPs and BRCGS.
• Experience with supplier specifications and technical documentation.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Organised and able to manage multiple responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the supplier database meeting BRCGS standards.
• Review and maintain raw material specifications for accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain raw materials log, supplier assurance records and ETI Base Code.
• Raise and coordinate actions on Supplier Non-Conformances (SNCs).
• Manage supplier review and monitoring processes and relationships.
• Support compliance with Health & Safety, Food Hygiene, GMP, HACCP, CCP and BRCGS.
• Promote a strong food safety culture and drive continuous improvement.
• Communicate with colleagues, suppliers and management daily.
