De Lacy Executive is seeking a Buyer for a leading livestock feed products manufacturer. You will own supplier relationships, negotiate pricing and terms, and ensure a reliable supply of raw materials to support manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing/procurement.
• Strong negotiation and commercial awareness.
• Analytical and numerical skills; highly organised.

Responsibilities

• Source and purchase raw materials and other inputs.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and supplier agreements.
• Manage supplier relationships and develop new supply partners.
• Monitor market trends, commodity pricing, and supply risks.
• Collaborate with production and supply chain to ensure continuity.
• Maintain purchasing records, analyse costs, and identify savings opportunities.
• Support inventory management balancing stock and working capital.
• Ensure suppliers meet quality, technical, and regulatory standards.
