Job summary

Leading Secondary School in Southwark is seeking a Data Officer to join a supportive environment. You will maintain student data in the MIS, produce reports on attendance, assessment and progress, and assist with census returns and statutory reporting.

The ideal candidate will have experience with school data systems, excellent organisational skills, strong Excel ability, and the ability to present data clearly.

The Role

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the school’s data management and reporting systems and will:

  • Maintain and manage student data using the school’s Management Information System (MIS).

  • Produce accurate reports and analysis relating to attendance, assessment, behaviour, and student progress.

  • Support staff and senior leaders with data collection, tracking, and performance analysis.

  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with GDPR regulations.

  • Assist with census returns, examinations data, and statutory reporting requirements.

  • Work closely with teaching and administrative staff to support school improvement priorities.

  • Provide administrative and technical support relating to school data systems and processes.

There may also be opportunities to contribute to wider operational and administrative projects across the school.

The Ideal Candidate
