Job summary

Loud London, a London-based media network delivering shows across food, sport, finance, law, technology, culture and lifestyle for young audiences, seeks a fast, detail‑oriented Short Form Editor.

You’ll cut and deliver weekly content across TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts from a 7‑day calendar, selecting strong moments, adding captions and branding, and formatting for each platform. CapCut proficiency and timely delivery are essential.

Qualifications

• Fast turnaround capability for weekly shorts.
• Strong branding and visual consistency across clips.
• Proven organisational skills with clean file management.
• Ability to craft compelling hooks within the first two seconds.

Responsibilities

• Cut and deliver all short form content across TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts
• Work from the 7-day content calendar provided by the Social Media Manager
• Select the strongest moments from highlight timestamps provided by the Long Form Editor
• Review BTS footage and identify additional short form opportunities
• Add accurate open captions burned into every short — no exceptions
• Apply consistent branding across every clip — captions, fonts, colours and show identity
• Format content correctly for each platform — aspect ratio, length and style vary per platform
• Deliver all content to the Social Media Manager on schedule, every week
• Stay current with short form trends — adapt the format when something new is performing
