And of course, it's important you possess a natural passion for delivering great customer service! We are looking for people that have experience in Customer Service, Ground maintenance, conservation, and Visitor management.
Event organising and being familiar with outdoor sports is desirable for this role such as fishing, cycling and walking as this is what a lot of visitors will be doing across the areas you will be helping to maintain. Having the ability to work with a large range of different people is important such as volunteers, contractors and partners as this will vary day to day. A health and safety management qualification as well as some practical qualification such as chainsaws, woodchippers and trailer towing would be great too. You'll also need to have a full UK driving license for this role as it does involve some travel to and from sites. The right skills and experience are important. But if you have the right character, positivity and a caring attitude we want to talk to you, too.
We welcome people from all walks of life and celebrate individuality as we know diverse minds, experiences and backgrounds help us to learn and better serve our communities. We want people who show up and get involve. Those who are ready to be part of something bigger and who want to make a difference because they care.
At Severn Trent, our people are at the heart of everything we do. We're in the top 5% of utility companies worldwide for employee engagement, and we're equally proud of our strong Glassdoor score - reflecting how much our people love working here.
It's not just a job; it's a career. We offer benefits that reward great work and award-winning training to help you reach your potential. Plus, you'll contribute to the environment and community too.
