Job summary

mecscomms is recruiting for an experienced contract RAN Deployment Lead to support a major UK mobile network transformation programme, delivering the build, upgrade and activation of mobile network sites across a regional portfolio.

Working within a large multi-partner deployment environment, you will own end-to-end RAN site delivery from nomination through design, acquisition, build and activation to handover into operations.

Qualifications

Must have 3+ years' experience in RAN deployment programmes.
Experience coordinating design, acquisition, build and activation.
Ability to manage suppliers and delivery partners.

Responsibilities

Take ownership of RAN sites from nomination to transfer into operations.
Collaborate with partners to design, acquire, build and activate network sites.
Ensure delivery against programme plans, budgets and quality requirements.
Engage stakeholders to ensure successful site delivery.
Monitor risks, issues and dependencies and escalate as needed.
Ensure governance and reliable reporting across the lifecycle.
Maintain Health & Safety compliance throughout delivery.

Overview

@mecscomms is recruiting for an experienced contract RAN Deployment Lead to support a major UK mobile network transformation programme, delivering the build & upgrade of mobile network sites across a regional portfolio. Working within a large-scale, multi-partner RAN deployment environment, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of RAN sites from nomination through design, acquisition, build & activation to successful transfer into operations. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced mobile telecoms deployment professional to join a major UK network programme focused on improving coverage, connectivity, reliability & customer experience.

Purpose

Own & drive the successful end-to-end delivery of RAN sites across an assigned regional portfolio, coordinating internal teams, suppliers & delivery partners to ensure sites are designed, acquired, built, activated & transferred into operations safely, on time, within budget & to the required quality standards.

Identify, escalates & resolve issues that place delivery plans at risk
Ensure appropriate governance & reliable reporting is maintained across the delivery lifecycle
Communicate delivery progress, risks & issues into the wider programme & dependent partner organisations
Manage site costs against agreed budgets & forecasts
Ensure suppliers & partners comply with Health & Safety obligations, policies & regulatory requirements
Monitor supplier performance against agreed plans, KPIs & delivery targets
Use data & insight to make informed delivery decisions & resolve operational issues
Drive a quality-focused, right-first-time approach to site deployment

Candidate Profile

Must possess a minimum of 3 years' experience working within RAN deployment programmes, coordinating multiple suppliers & delivery partners to deliver mobile network sites through the deployment lifecycle. You will combine practical RAN deployment knowledge with strong delivery management, supplier management & stakeholder engagement skills, alongside technical understanding of one or more key areas of site deployment including design, acquisition & build.
