Job summary

First Call Aviation in Manchester is hiring Ramp Agents to join our team at Manchester Airport. The role involves handling passenger luggage, assisting with aircraft movements on the tarmac, and working as part of a DHL-affiliated team. Interviews take place at our Piccadilly Gardens office.

Pay is £14.69 per hour with a mix of AM/PM shifts, 6 on 3 off, and permanent positions. Applicants should be flexible, able to work in all weather, and comfortable starting early mornings or late nights.

Qualifications

• Licence/Certification: Driving Licence (required)
• Availability for 3am starts and weekends may be required

Responsibilities

• Reconcile passenger bags
• Safe loading and delivery of bags to aircraft side
• Move ground equipment (steps, trolleys) to aircraft stands
• Obtain an Airside Driving Permit to move baggage trolleys and ground equipment
• Marshal aircraft onto and off stands for arrivals and departures

• The reconciliation of passenger bags
• Safe loading and delivery of loaded bags to aircraft side.
• Moving ground Equipment such as steps to the airplane for embarking and disembarking passengers
• Get an Airside Driving Permit to move Baggage Trolleys, Steps and other Ground Equipment into the stands.
• Marshalling Aircraft onto and off the stands for arrivals and departures.
