Job Description

When you join our Engineering Team at Telent, you'll be empowered to innovate and drive common solutions, working closely with technical experts who are proud of the impact their work makes. You’ll be working under the direction of the Duty Manager in the Remedial Team, where you will be the deputy technical lead, involved with fault finding, fixing fault rectifications on CCTV, Public Address systems and be the first point of escalation for SISS Technicians. Working from our Pirin Court Depot, this role will cover Sunday to Thursday 10pm – 6am.

What you’ll do:

  • Be an escalation point for recurring faults, assisting in the implementation of investigations and fixes.
  • Be involved with fault finding, fixing fault rectifications on CCTV and Public Address systems.
  • Complete planned remedial activities on communications systems against a defined schedule.
  • Promote a positive Health and Safety culture.
  • Ability to successfully take own initiative, work under pressure and meet tight programme deadlines/scheduling and work to high standards.

Who you are:

You’ll have previous experience working as a Level 3 Technician and are looking to take that next step into a Level 2 Technician's role.

Key requirements:

  • Experience of CCTV, PA, CIS IP Networks and ability to erect scaffold.
  • Strong organizational skills, including multi-tasking and time management.
  • The job holder will be required to work Sunday to Thursday 10pm to 6am from our Pirin Court Depot.
  • IRSE Telecoms Maintainer License.
  • Full UK Driving License.
