Job summary

Southeastern Railway is seeking a Service Engineer Level 1 to join our Maintenance team at Ashford Depot. You will perform routine repairs, examination work and first level fault finding under the Team Leader’s direction, gaining exposure to our newest fleet.

You should have mechanical and electrical experience, be able to read schematics, have basic IT knowledge and hold a full driving licence. A safety-critical medical and references are required.

Qualifications

• Experience skilled mechanical / electrical work.
• Ability to read and follow schematics and diagrams.
• Basic knowledge of IT systems and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine repairs and examination work as directed by the Team Leader.
• Perform first level fault finding on the fleet.
• Work on Southeast’s newest/latest trains at Ashford Depot.
