Job summary

Blueprint Recruitment Solutions Ltd. is seeking an experienced Architect to support the delivery of high-profile railway buildings in Birmingham.

The role offers hybrid working and an hourly rate of £35–£40 inside IR35, on a 3-month initial contract with potential extensions. You will lead technical reviews, coordinate with designers and subcontractors, ensure compliance with codes, and manage the design assurance process to deliver buildable, safe, and timely architectural solutions for railway

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or equivalent.
• 10+ years' experience in architectural design and delivery of buildings.
• Experience delivering architectural packages to programme and driving actions to closure.
• English language proficiency and multidisciplinary turnkey project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical review and coordination of architectural design.
• Ensure design compliance with project requirements, codes and safety-in-design principles.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design interfaces with civil, structural, MEP and other stakeholders.
• Manage design assurance, review and approvals to close out actions.
• Participate in meetings and drive decisions on design issues.
• Oversee architectural elements including envelope, roofing, finishes and layouts.
• Liaise with Construction and Procurement for buildability and approvals.
• Review QCs, RFIs and changes, escalate risks and impacts.
