Job summary

Network Rail in Doncaster is seeking a Project Development Manager to lead track renewal schemes from initial scope through PACE to T-65 handover. You will work with East Coast, North and East Midlands routes, coordinating risk, cost, delivery and assurance with asset engineers and alliance design teams.

Requirements include a degree in a relevant discipline, PRINCE2 Foundation or equivalent, and proven experience in complex infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Experience managing projects and development activities in complex infrastructure.
• PRINCE2 Foundation or equivalent qualification.
• Knowledge of CDM and Safe by Design principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of track renewal projects through the PACE lifecycle, ensuring schemes are delivered safely, efficiently and in compliance with Network Rail standards.
• Act on behalf of Route Asset Engineers across multiple routes, translating asset requirements into renewal solutions.
• Coordinate production, integration and assurance of all PACE deliverables for stage-gate approval and handover readiness.
• Work with alliance design and delivery teams to align scope, design, access, programme and constructability.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams, consultants and suppliers to develop safe, deliverable renewal schemes.
• Develop and maintain integrated programmes, budgets and forecasts, managing risk and dependencies.
