Job summary

Mane Contract Services seeks experienced Telecoms Engineers to support a rail telecoms survey project. You will carry out surveys, testing, and prep works on live rail sites, with potential progression through to January 2027. Night shifts and site safety are integral to the role.

You will work with labourers and project staff to deliver survey results and prepare installations, ensuring compliance with rail safety standards and reporting findings promptly.

Qualifications

• PTS certification is required.
• Experience with telecoms surveys and testing is preferred.
• Ability to work night shifts on live rail sites is essential.
• Understanding of rail health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Carry out telecoms survey works across rail infrastructure
• Conduct cable testing and fault identification
• Support and undertake telecoms cable installation activities
• Record and report survey findings and testing results
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with rail industry safety standards
• Supervise and direct supporting labour where required
• Maintain tools, equipment, and testing devices in good working order
• Follow all site safety procedures and project requirements
