AtkinsRéalis seeks a Senior Consultant to join the Rail Technology Advisory team, delivering technical and commercial input across rail systems for heavy rail, metro and CBTC/ETCS projects. You will collaborate with clients and internal teams to provide clear, robust advice and help shape project delivery and new business opportunities.

Qualifications

Extensive technical, consultancy, or project engineering experience in rail.
Strong knowledge of heavy rail, metro, high-speed, or light-rail systems.
Degree-qualified and Chartered Engineer (or actively working toward accreditation).
Experience delivering projects with commercial awareness.
English proficiency; additional languages advantageous.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, client-facing technical consultancy to stakeholders.
Prepare, manage, and deliver project outputs for multiple clients.
Lead smaller-scale projects and oversee deliverables with cross-functional teams.
Contribute to tender preparation and business development.
Mentor and develop team members.
Ensure compliance with Management Systems and CPD.
