Job summary

Fusion People Ltd is seeking a Structures Examiner (STE04) for a national rail consultancy. The role involves conducting structural bridge examinations, collecting site data, and preparing detailed reports. A PTS card is essential, with degree or HNC preferred, and you must be able to work on track with a driving licence.

The position allows remote + site work across Kent/Sussex. Salary range £44,000–£45,000 with opportunities for career progression and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• STE04 competency for structures examinations.
• Experience in rail industry.
• PTS certification essential.
• Ability to work on track & full driving licence.
• Educated to degree or HNC level; strong IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Undertake structural examinations of bridges across the rail network.
• Collect site data and carry out Hidden Critical Element assessments.
• Prepare detailed examination reports and support decision-making on safety objectives.
• Assist on-track duties and participate in Asset Management activities.
