Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking an Electrical Designer based in Newcastle upon Tyne to develop and deliver electrical designs for smaller rail station projects. The ideal candidate will work in a multidisciplinary team and engage in client assurance processes while having experience in electrical systems design and knowledge of power distribution. Qualifications

• Experience designing electrical systems.
• Experience of electrical design on rail stations.
• Knowledge of 230/400V power distribution (single and 3‑phase).
• Experience with electrical building services (power, lighting, fire, intruder).

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver electrical designs for smaller station rail projects.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team producing technically compliant designs.
• Engage fully in client assurance processes and design coordination.
