Job summary

Danny Sullivan & Sons Ltd is recruiting an experienced Slinger for a busy rail project in Banbury. You will support safe and efficient lifting operations, establish load weights and dimensions, and communicate with the crane operator.

Role requires CPCS Slinger A40A, IPAF, and own transport to site; rail/site experience is preferred. Weekly pay and PAYE apply for this site-based position.

Qualifications

• CPCS Slinger A40A - All Types, All Duties is required.
• IPAF certification is required.
• Own transport to site is required.
• Rail or site experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish load weights and dimensions and communicate with the crane operator.
• Select, inspect, attach and detach suitable lifting tackle safely.
• Use clear signals to direct crane movements and loads.
• Check, maintain and safely store lifting accessories.
• Work on a busy rail project ensuring safe lifting operations.
