Job summary

Siemens Mobility offers a 12-month placement in the UK for engineers and technology students to gain hands-on experience in rail technology. You’ll work on real signalling projects, supported by structured development activities and a network of colleagues across the business.

Qualifications

Be on track to achieve a 2:2 or above in an Engineering or Technology related degree.
Logical thinking, willing to self-learn and research, and take a creative approach to problem solving.
Ability to work independently, safely and responsibly; take ownership of challenges and ideas and are looking to develop your ability to drive and lead change.
Enjoy collaborating with others to find innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

Put your university learning into practice by supporting the development and delivery of innovative rail technology solutions on real signalling projects.
Collaborate with a range of teams and stakeholders, gaining insight into how technology solutions are developed, tested and continually improved.
Build your digital and problem-solving skills by contributing to technology-led solutions that are helping shape the future of the rail industry.
Gain hands-on experience of systems engineering, learning how engineering processes can help manage risk, improve efficiency and support successful project delivery.
