Job summary

Bimplus is seeking a Section Engineer for the CP7 Rail Framework with sites in Bristol or Swindon. The role involves supervising on-site teams, interpreting drawings, and delivering projects safely, on time and within budget.

The successful candidate will lead the coordination of plant, resources and subcontractors, implement SHEQ procedures, and ensure compliance with environmental standards while maintaining high safety performance.

Qualifications

Ability to use levels, theodolites and EDM's accurately.
Strong communication skills and team leadership.
Methodical approach to design and planning with accurate drawings.

Responsibilities

Supervise junior engineers, gangers, operatives and subcontractors with the site foreman.
Ensure delivery of projects within budget and programme aims with zero accidents.
Interpret drawings and specifications to provide engineering support to the project team.
Produce risk assessments and method statements for safe execution of works.
Ensure work complies with health, safety and environmental guidelines.
