Job description

Salary: £13 per hour plus travel expenses.

Apply in writing to jake.tuohy@stagecoach.com, clearly indicating which position you are applying for.

The closing date is 21st January 2025, with interviews to be held when required. The successful candidates will be obliged to adhere to a strict zero tolerance drink and drugs policy.

This core role will be working as a Rail Replacement Coordinator across the UK network, during times of disruption and pre-planned work. We also have some requirements to assist our special events team.

We expect you to be customer focused in everything you do, ensuring that we provide a fantastic experience for people travelling with us. Even when things may not be running smoothly, you will need to ensure customers are kept informed throughout their journey.

You will be trained to carry out all aspects of the role including managing different situations during times of disruption, ensuring buses and trains run on time, making announcements, carrying out appropriate safety duties, and assisting with customer service. You’ll receive training to ensure you have all the knowledge and skills you need to help ensure our services run smoothly and safely.

About You:

This is a part-time role with flexible hours, and as such there is no guarantee that any minimum hours will be offered.

You’ll be flexible in working location and happy to travel (travel costs will be covered). Our services operate seven days a week, covering a range of different hours – early morning and right into the night. There will be a requirement to be flexible at short notice, due to working requirements.

We are looking for candidates who have the ability to build a rapport with a diverse range of people. You’ll also have:

  • Great attention to detail
  • Strong decision-making skills
  • A systematic approach to working
  • Available to work flexibly and at short notice

Training will be provided on the specific requirements of the role, but an understanding of bus and train timetables and drivers' hours regulations would be of benefit.

Stagecoach workplace culture is one where everyone can be themselves and where all the differences our people bring to the business are celebrated. We welcome applications from all, irrespective of background, gender, ethnicity, race, religion, beliefs, disability, neurodiversity, sexual orientation, or age.

Location: Stagecoach Rugby Depot, Railway Terrace, Rugby, CV21 3HS.
