Job summary

Skanska Costain STRABAG Joint Venture seeks a Project Controls Engineer to support the HS2 London Tunnels project. You will develop schedules, manage resources and costs, and implement earned value management across the programme.

You will produce reports on progress, risk, and outcomes, and collaborate with planning, commercial, and delivery teams using P6, Power BI and SharePoint to drive accurate monthly reporting.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) terminology and practice.
• Strong P6 planning and control software skills, including budgets and resources.
• Experience in the Engineering/Construction industry.
• Competent IT skills with Excel for data manipulation.

Responsibilities

• Use document control to optimise information distribution.
• Assist Planning/Control Manager to ensure effective project controls and forecasting.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders; monitor risks and opportunities.
• Capture and monitor project risks, issues, mitigations and resolution.
• Coordinate with supply chain for relationships and productivity improvements.
• Support EVA setup and monthly reporting with client and commercial teams.
